Spam Awaits Workers Back From Festive Break
Research carried out by a leading communications company has found that employees’ inboxes have been stuffed with spam over Christmas.

New research has indicated that employees' inboxes will be jammed with spam emails when they arrive back from their Christmas holidays next week.
According to communications consultancy Expert Messaging, there will be 450 unopened emails in the average UK workers' email inbox following the Christmas holiday.
Those whose jobs rely more heavily upon emails may even find that they are returning to as many as 3,000, the organisation predicted.
A majority of 70 per cent of these are estimated to be spam.
Bob Hallewell, a workplace communications expert at the company, warned employees against simply deleting all of their yuletide emails.
"There is no doubt it brings a cathartic pleasure, but then remember you are back to work and you may be deleting some important or critical information," he continued.
In other spam news, 26-year-old Lance Atkinson from New Zealand was fined a total of $92,715 (£35,788) last month after being found guilty of overseeing an international spam operation.
